Shotgun Tournament Cost: $ 35.00 all-inclusive per shooter.  EVERYTHING IS PROVIDED including: Shotguns, Ammunition, Drinks, Snacks, Expert Coaching, Awards, Continental Breakfast & Luncheon!  NRA Shooting Sports Camp shirts & hats for ALL competitors! KP Chesapeake 4rth Annual Pistol Tournament & Luncheon 071710 – SUMMARY REPORT

 

PROCEEDS TO SUPPORT USMMA KP MARINER PISTOL TEAM

On Saturday July 17, 2010 - 9:00AM to 2:30PM, the USMMA KP Alumni – Chesapeake Chapter held its 4th Annual Pistol Tournament.  This Competition Event was provided as a NRA Shooting Sports Competition Camp Program.  The tournament was directed by Long Branch Rifle Association, Inc. and hosted by Izaak Walton League - Harford County Chapter, Abingdon, MD.  This 4th Annual Pistol Tournament drew our best attendance to date, with 40 registered competitors, representing 5 KP Alumni Chapters including: KP Chesapeake, DE Shore, Port of Wilmington, DE, KP Club of Washington, DC and the Downtown NY City Chapter!  Our attendees included 4 sets of KP Chesapeake Midshipman Parent Members – Joe and Sue Marino (Marjorie ’08 & Sarah ’12, Alexandria, VA), Frank & Nancy Goetschius (Joseph ’12, Severna Park, MD), Scott Bachman (William Heath ’13, Fallston, MD) and Captain Kevin & Michele Gugliotta (Kristy Harriss ’14, Phoenix, MD)!  We also had an unprecedented 10 Women shooters! 

 

All USMMA Midshipmen were invited as our guests at NO $ CHARGE!  We were pleased to have 2 Midshipman attending.  The KP Chesapeake Chapter is hosting both of these Midshipmen in the Port of Baltimore for Internship Assignments.  Midshipman Alison Anderson '12 hails from her home port of Des Moines, IA.  Midshipman Pu'Amavae Ah-Mai '11 hails from his home port of Pango Pango, American Samoa.   

The KP Chesapeake Chapter has provided a donation of $ 250.00 to the USMMA Alumni Foundation – restricted to the support of the United States Merchant Marine Academy Pistol Team.
